Changes in Rakvere train departures

Due to railway repairs, schedule changes are made in Rakvere departures from 9 September. Replacement buses must be used on the Tapa-Rakvere segment.

“We need to close the Tapa-Rakvere railway segment for repair works, meaning that on some days, replacement buses must be used on Rakvere departures. The repair works do not concern Narva departures. When planning a trip, be sure to check the time of the departure and additional departure information from the schedule,” Elron Sales and Marketing Manager Ronnie Kongo said.

Changes from 9 September:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays

Replacement buses on the Rakvere-Tapa segment for the morning Rakvere-Tallinn departure.

Evening Tallinn-Rakvere departure is normal, covered by train in full.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

Morning Rakvere-Tallinn departure is normal, covered by train in full.

Replacement buses on the Tapa-Rakvere segment for the evening Tallinn-Rakvere departure.

Sundays

Normal schedule applies. 

Replacement bus stops are marked with signs in Elron’s colours, the locations with detailed information on schedule changes is available on the Elron website and on the information stands on train platforms, train information is also available free of charge via telephone 616 0245.
